24 hour read-a-thon update #1

The read-a-thon just started! For the first hour, everyone awswers some questions about themselves.

1)Where are you reading from today?
2)Three random facts about me…
3)How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?
4)Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?
5)If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?

1. Stockholm, Sweden!
2. I'm part Finnish, I currently don't have any bookshelves and I love the UK tv series Skins!
3. I've picked 10 books that I'm looking forward to read, but I might choose something else from my other tbr list.
4. Just to have fun and read a lot!
5. This is my first 24 hour read-a-thon, so I'm a newbie in this. But my advise is just to read, read and read!

I'm starting with finishing City of Glass, I've read about 200 pages of it. I'll hopefully be tweeting a lot during this read-a-thon you can follow me at @Magical_books

Now to reading!

  1. Welcome to the Readathon! Make sure you take some time for walks outside to keep you fresh! Also, switching up the types of books helps too! I can't wait to read your update posts!

    Read on!

  2. I'm a newbie at this as well, but so far, it's been pretty fun. Happy reading!

  3. Good luck with the rest of the read-a-thon! (I visited Stockholm once many years ago -- a beautiful city!)

  4. I'm part (a little part) Finnish too! My grandpa is a full Finn. Cool! I hope you're having a great readathon!

  5. Aww shux hey now, Readers gettin down,
    We got pride, jump back,
    Show us where its at,
Cause when it comes to reading, we're second to none,
Cause we know that you know that we are number 1!

City of Glass is a great pick for the readathon. I love that series! I hope you're having a great reading day!

  6. Sweden is one of my favorite places. I do hope you are enjoying your read-a-thon. Remember to take frequent breaks. I find that drinking lots of fluids helps me stay awake longer. Have a great read-a-thon.

  7. Hope you had a very successful day of reading so far and can get in a few more hours!

  8. R! E! A! D!
Any book that you can see!

No bookshelves?? Wow! I hope you're having a great time with your first readathon!!

  9. Love your blog header! Hope your readathon is going well!

Pick another book off your Readathon stack
It's time to read, get on the attack!
It's a war of words and rhyme
Stay awake, you've got the time!
