3 Good Huge Books

I love huge books! (If the book isn't really bad, but that doesn't happen so often). With long books you don't have to let go of the characters, the places or the story as fast as with a shorter book. I know that a lot of people don't like big books, but I think if you just find the perfect book you can get through the +500 pages. So I thought I should give you guys some tips on big books that I really, really like.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

Any dystropia/science-fiction fans here? I know there are! Yes it is an adult novel and yes it's over 600 pages long, but if a 12 year old Olivia who only had read like five books in english could get through it, you can as well. And if you don't like Twilight, don't worry, read this despite that. I know people who hate Twilight and love this one.

This Is All: The Pillow Book of Cordelia Kenn by Aidan Chambers

I love, love, love this one! Cordelia writes a diary to give to her not yet born daughter, telling her about Cordelia's teenager years. I read this 800 paged book in not even two days. I couldn't put it down! It's funny, sad, crazy and just amazing. It's a book I think that everyone should read.

The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak

This is another book that I love, love, love. To be honest I love, love, love all of the books on this list. But the Book Thief is the one I love, love, love the most. If I had to describe it in one word it would be: beautiful. It really is. The language, the story, the characters. This is a book that I very often just take from my shelf and randomly read a few pages. Because I can't reread it all the time.

3 Good Valentines Day reads

Happy Valentine's Day peeps! I hope that all you lucky people have a wonderful evening with your loved one and give all us usually happy singles but today depressed loners a thought. I myself will be spending the night in bed reading Before I Fall. Anybody know if there's some hawt guy in it? Since if so, he's going to be my Valentine! Imaginary boys are the best ones, right? They don't break up with you, don't smell bad and they do whatever you want them to do!

Here's my list of good books to read at Valentines Day. Since they either contain a super cute boy who I would love to date, or a super romantic love story that I would love to experience. Well, just books I'd like to read on Valentine's Day.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan & Rachel Cohn
I love this book! It's only about 200 pages and the story is set over only one night. But this book is filled with so much awesomeness! It's a fast paced story about Nick and Norah who meet at a club and develops a wicked relationship as they move around the dark streets of New York.

Kiss by Jacqueline Wilson
When I was younger Jacqueline Wilson was one of my favorite author. I had read almost everyone of her books and loved them. One of my favorite Wilson books is Kiss. Even though I think it's for younger people I hope many of you will enjoy it. It's a lighter read with a deep message.

Angel (aka Angel Burn) by L.A. Weatherly
Let's finish this list off with a paranormal romance. I totally love Alex and Willow's love story. I've reviewed this book on my blog (click here to read the review) but I just had to bring this one up again. It's beautiful. Unfortunately the release date for the next book, Angel Fire, has been moved to october this year, but for such an awesome book the wait is definitely worth it.

Btw, as you may notice I've changed my 5 good to 3 good. I felt like listing five different books made the posts too long. So I've shortened it. Hope you like the new way!

5 good Fantasy series

I've wanted to have some special post thingie here on my blog, so that I don't just post reviews of books. I've been thinking about what I should do, what would be my thing. Many bloggers have weekly memes on their blog. A few examples I've seen are posts about which book covers they love, what books they can't wait to read, books that will be released that week, ask [insert name here]  . So I wanted to come up with my own thing. And I did. I now present you: "5 good"!!

Maybe two times a month or every week I'll do posts telling about five good books or series in a certain genre, by an specific author or that just have something else in common. I haven't found these kind of post , so I hope nobody does them. It feels like everybody are concentrating on new books and new releases, so I wanted to focus on a little older books.

I'm sorry for this long introduction. And I'll now show my five favorite fantasy series.

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Of course I have to include the Harry Potter books into this list. They're some of the most awesome books out there, and my first ever book obsession. They've enchanted me, as well as many millions of people around the world. I love everything about these books, the writing is awesome, the characters are really alive, the plots are breathtaking and the setting's literally magical. If you haven't read them , what are you waiting for?!

The Inheritance Cycle by Cristopher Paolini

I love dragons. They're such strong, magical and mysterious creatures. The Eragon books have gotten a lot of crap, but I can't see why. Sure, Brisingr was slow in the beginning, but after a few hundred pages, whoa! I'm waiting for the fourth and last book and hope it to be released soon!

His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman

My absolute favorite fantasy books (after Harry Potter of course). I feel that I really can relate to Lyra. I love the world(s) this story takes place. All of the three books are centered around a thing called dust, and they are wonderfully plotted and developed. And who wouldn't want to have a cute little animal dæmon to have with you all the time?

Septimus Heap by Angie Sage

I think these books are ment for younger children, but I still love them. They're wonderfully written and the magical world is so amazing! I recommend these to everyone, especially fantasy lovers. I know they might seem a little childish (with lots of pictures in them) but they're really good!

Percy Jackson and The Olympians by Rick Riordian

I'm very interested in greek mythology, so I like these books a lot. I've only read the two first books. But I own the third as well and intend to read it as soon as possible. The plots in these books are thrilling and so much happens! It's very fast paced. I remember two battles taking place in the 50 first pages in The Sea of Monsters!
