Life update and Dreamland trailer

Hi you guys! I know that I haven't updated my blog in a while, I blame real life on that. I've had a lot of home works, test and have started working out again. It feels like every time I take care of my irl life my blog suffers! But that's not going to happen anymore, I have a lot of reviews and blog posts written down in my notebook. Everything's going to be fine, I promise.

Since it's Thursday, it's Trailer of the Week day. (Though last time I talked about moving it to Fridays .. We'll see about that) The trailer I'm going to feature today is one that's been seen around the book blogging community these last few days. Dreamland by Alyson Noel!

The books sounds really interesting, I love the whole Afterlife thing. I'm so excited to read this one. And the cover is just gorgeous ..

Ladybird, Ladybird - Book Trailer + Giveaway

I love book trailers, but think that they don't get enough attention in the book blogging community. That's why I started Trailer of the Week. Every week I'll feature one amazing book trailer that really grabs my attention.

This weeks' Trailer of the Week is a bit different than usual. I was contacted by the publisher for about this book trailer. To celebrate the release the ebook and book trailer for the Ladybird Ladybird, they are hosting a giveaway. They're going to give away five $50 American Express Giftcards! You can sign up to the giveaway by clicking here, and please tell them that you were directed there by Magical Books!

The trailer looks really cozy and I instantly start thinking about nights at summer camps! I have to say that I'm pretty interested by this book.

The Eleventh Plague book trailer

I love book trailers, but think that they don't get enough attention in the book blogging community. That's why I started Trailer of the Week. Every week I'll feature one amazing book trailer that really grabs my attention.

This is a 2011 debut from Jeff Hirsch. And, as many other books released this year, it's a dystopian. And I never say no to a good dystopian! Especially if Suzanne Collins, the queen of dystopia, likes it. If you want to know more about the book, visit its Goodreads page.

The trailer is pretty simple, but that doesn't make it less powerful! With an opening quote from Suzanne Collins, epic background music and eye catching pictures and newspaper headlines to look at it just can't go wrong.

Beautiful Darkness Book Trailer

I love book trailers, but think that they don't get enough attention in the book blogging community. That's why I started Trailer of the Week. Every week I'll feature one amazing book trailer that really grabs my attention.

I loved Beautiful Creatures and would've read Beautiful Darkness a long time ago if it wasn't for my overflowing to be read pile. Yeah, it's a hard life being a book lover these days. I really hope to have time to read this book soon, since I'm really interested in knowing what happens in Lena's and Ethan's story. And this book trailer is just beautiful!

Fan Made Matched Book Trailer

I'm a bid fan of the Sims 3. And when I came across this amazing book trailer, made with the help of the Sims 3, I knew I would have to feature it in a Trailer of the Week post. I haven't read Matched yet, but it's on the top of my books to buy list. So I'll hopefully read it soon! Have you read Matched? Do you think that this trailer suits the book?

The Girl in the Steel Corset - Trailer of the Week

I love book trailers, but think that they don't get enough attention in the book blogging community. That's why I started Trailer of the Week. I'll feature one amazing book trailer that really grabs my attention every week.

So, the Girl in the Steel Corset. This steampunk sounds like awesomesauce. I haven't read a lot of steampunk, but I am really excited to start reading this one. And fortunately, I've received it from Netgalley! I'll start reading it soon, so look out for my review. In the meantime, watch the trailer!

Divergent - Trailer of the Week

The most discussed book this month is probably Divergent. When I came home from school today, I finally found it in my mailbox! To celebrate me starting to read this awesome book, the trailer of the week will be the official trailer of Divergent by Veronica Roth!

Lies - Trailer of the Week

Trailer of the Week is coming a bit late this week! I had this post scheduled, but because of Blogger not running like it should, it wasn't posted.

You probably know that I'm a big fan of the Gone series by Michael Grant. How could one not be after reading those wonderful books? (And if you haven't read them, do it now!)

This is the official trailer for the third book in the series, Lies. It really captures the whole feeling and plot of the books. And even if it's a trailer for the third book, there's no spoilers for the previous books!

Anna and the French Kiss - Trailer of the Week

Today Stephanie Perkins tweeted a link to a super cute fan made trailer for Anna and the French Kiss. I watched it and loved it! It's a simple stop motion video which doesn't say too much about the book, but just shows things that are connected to the story.

Enclave - Trailer of the week (#1)

I'm a big fan of book trailers. They're usually much more powerful that blurbs in really capturing the mood of a book. They can in just a few seconds relive the experience you had when you read the book or leave you craving for a book you haven't read. But unfortunately, it feels like book trailers aren't spotlighted that much in the book blogging community. There's a lot of amazing book trailers out there, that not many people get to see.

With that in mind I decided to start this feature on Magical Books. It's called the Trailer of the Week. I'll post a book trailer every Thursday. New, old, official, fan-made. Doesn't matter. But every trailer I post will have one thing in common, they're super, frickin' awesome.

This weeks trailer is the official trailer of Enclave by Ann Aguirre. It's a dystropia / post apocalypse / zombie apocalypse young adult novel. It was released a few weeks ago, so due to my book buying ban thingie I haven't bought it yet. But I've heard a ton of great things about it and am really looking forward to reading it.

I just had to make this trailer the first I feature here on Trailer of the Week. It blew my mind.
